Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
An opportunity has arisen for a highly energised Operational System Implementation Officer. The incumbent will play a crucial role in planning coordinating and executing the deployment of new systems or upgrades to existing systems to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement support maintain and continuously improve the operational systems.
- Maintain the ongoing reliability performance and support of the operational systems.
- Monitors operating environments responds to incidents and problems as well as planning for growth.
- May recommend changes/enhancements for improved systems availability reliability and performance.
- Participates in testing efforts and coordinates feedback of test results.
- Analyses and reports on operational metrics to understand performance and to ensure success in process improvements.
- Identifies ways tasks can be automated.
- Documents monitors reports and manages the resolution of calls logged on the systems helpdesk.
- Monitors production outputs and services to ensure that SLAs and other quality metrics are being met.
- Provides user support ensure calls are logged and actioned timeously and resolved within SLA.
- Provide end user training.
- Drafting scope documents for functional development required.
- Project management including business case design issue log tracking and risk registers.
- Coordination of centralized communication between the business and 3rd party software vendors.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in IT / Computer Sciences or a related field.
- A business analyst or project management qualification is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of software implementation or project management experience

- Ability to handle multiple implementations simultaneously will be required
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
