Key Roles and Responsibilities and Skill of Position
- Perform advanced diagnostics repair and maintenance on Ford vehicles to OEM standards.
- Dismantle inspect repair and assemble engines and transmissions/gearboxes with precision.
- Conduct advanced electrical and electronic diagnostics tracing faults and resolving complex issues.
- Triage and resolve technical concerns with clear root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Handle warranty-related queries: verify concern and cause capture DTC and evidence prepare accurate documentation and liaise with warranty/admin teams for approvals in line with Ford policies.
- Utilize Ford ESST/SST and associated diagnostic platforms efficiently and safely.
- Document work performed diagnostics and parts used in line with Ford processes and dealership standards.
- Liaise professionally in English with Australian dealership teams for technical escalations and updates.
- Support road tests quality checks and final delivery inspections.
- Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a safe clean and organized workshop.
- Adhere to safety environmental and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of vehicle modules is important for both retrieving Data Identifier (DID) information and conducting programming tasks
Key Skills:
- Experience with Ford diagnostic software and systems (e.g. IDS FDRS OBD-II workflows).
- Familiarity with Ford service information portals and technical service publications.
- Prior experience preparing and validating warranty claims in a dealership/service environment.
- Ford Information systems- PTSGTAC Servis2
- Computer literate Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure in difficult environments and different time zone.
Qualifications
Education Qualification Diploma orbachelors degree or masters degree in mechanical
Automobile.
- No. of Years of Experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working specifically
-
on Ford vehicles.
Level 3 Master Technician certification (Ford) or Ford TChamp
credential (required).

Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills)
- Should have worked as Service Technician Dealer Shop Floor Experience is must Dealer Diagnostic Engineerexpertise in engine and transmission/gearbox dismantling and assembly.Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems diagnostics and experience using Ford ESST/SST.
- Valid passport is must no any medical issues police criminal cases are mandatory.
- Work place is Chennai location till travel start to overseas.
- Should be willing to work any extreme weather conditions.
- Good in MS office filesCommunication and interpersonal skills
- Work well under pressure and highly achievement oriented
- Ability to develop open and cooperative relations with internal and external may involve overtime or shift flexibility to meet operational needs.
