What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitneys Aviation Maintenance Technician provides aircraft engine maintenance/repair and/or quick turn aircraft engine maintenance within our Dallas based this role you may provide engine troubleshooting aircraft engine repairs aircraft engine module removal and replacement and/or line maintenance (including LRU removal and replacement).
In this role you will play an important role within our P&W Line Maintenance Services (LMS) organization FAA 145 repair station. The focus of LMS is to provide our customers with increased value through alternative and flexible tailored maintenance solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt & Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.
Have an incessant focus on the quality of the service you provide and the safety of our Customers and Team Members ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety requirements Pratt & Whitney/Raytheon Policy and Procedure and Customer/Regulatory Agency quality requirements are met.
Assist the team in producing first in class aircraft engine maintenance turnaround time/response time through team collaboration and execution of RTXs CORE operating system and continuous improvement processes.
Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual Engine Shop Manual procedures and/or other approved technical data when performing maintenance.
Perform other supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required
Build Internal and External relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives.
The position will be based at the Dallas TX site reporting directly to the General Manager at LMS.
This is a FAA safety-sensitive position subject to FAA drug and alcohol program regulations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED
Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant (FAA A&P) license
2 years of general aviation maintenance or MRO experience
Willingness and ability to learn the skills required to perform aircraft engine inspections and/or lead maintenance activities both in shop and in the field at a Customer location
Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international locations as required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Associates degree in Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT)
2 years experience repairing commercial aircraft engines ideally PW engines

The salary range for this role is 40000 USD - 70000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
