What Were Looking For
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Global Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain this entry-level role you will support the coordination and execution of international and domestic shipments ensuring goods move efficiently cost-effectively and in compliance with all regulations. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to start a career in logistics and gain hands-on experience in global supply chain operations.
To Summarize You Will
- Support documentation processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs and trade regulations
- Track shipments and update internal systems with delivery status and any delays
- Communicate with freight forwarders carriers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery
- Help resolve logistics issues and escalate problems when necessary
- Monitor and maintain records related to shipments invoices and compliance documents
- Partner with internal teams (Warehouse Customer Service Merchandising etc.) to support smooth logistics operations
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Assist with coordinating import and export shipments including air ocean and ground transportation
- Bachelors degree in supply chain Logistics Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 02 years of logistics supply chain or related experience (internships welcome)
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective communicator both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word); experience with ERP or logistics systems a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Interest in learning about global trade compliance and transportation
