ELEMENTARY EDUCATION ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Tallahassee State Collegeis a dynamic and growing comprehensive community college located in Tallahassee Floridathe Colleges 2022 fall enrollment had more than 10000 students. For over 55 years TSC has served its three-county district of Leon Gadsden and Wakulla counties providing pathways to economic mobility. The College enjoys a strong reputation for teaching excellence and producing graduates with associate in arts degrees associate in science degrees college credit certificates and workforce-ready credentials.
Tallahassee is home to two state universities Florida State University and Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. TSC also partners with area businesses and organizations to meet local workforce needs that align with the colleges degree certificate and workforce programs.
Faculty responsibilities include instruction curriculum service and support of college policies and procedures and professional development. Starting salaries for instructional faculty positions are competitive and commensurate with degrees and experience.
ELEMENTARY EDUCATION ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree (Doctorate preferred) in elementary education. Or a masters degree in early childhood education educational curriculum development and/or field related to education and instruction plus 18 graduate semester hours in elementary education.
Must hold a valid Florida Professional Educator Certification(s) (Not endorsements) in one or more of the following: Elementary Education (K-6) Reading (K-12) English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Exceptional Student Education (K-12) and/or Reading (K-12).
Must have completed at least 3 years of successful relevant prekindergarten through grade 12 teaching student services or school administration experience.
