About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Specialist in Data Analytics with a unique blend of technical expertise and user-centered design thinking to lead the development and optimization of our Finance management data products. This role will be pivotal in shaping the data experience for our internal and external users of digitally consumable financial data by delivering finance data products built on Snowflake and visualized through Power BI.

You will work at the intersection of data engineering business intelligence and user experienceensuring our data products are not only technically robust but also intuitive insightful and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to design scalable performant data models in Snowflake.

  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability storytelling and business value.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product decisions and improve the user journey.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and product features.

  • Ensure data governance quality and security standards are upheld across all solutions.

  • Monitor product performance and usage analytics to drive enhancements.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams in technology finance and business stakeholders to align on priorities and execution.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in data visualization and user experience and analytics. Data modeling and / or data architecture experience a plus.

  • Advanced degree and / or certifications in UI/UX design including human centric design principles accessibility & inclusivity data model visualizations

  • Experienced UI/UX designer focused on human-centered design principles

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI Service cloud solutions using Direct Query on top of Snowflake data sets.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL and data modeling. CortextAI experience a plus.

  • Proficiency in Python for data pipeline development and minor code enhancements preferred.

  • Experience working with structured semi-structured and unstructured data.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.

  • Experience with working with global teams across all time zones

  • Experience integrating data into data lakes warehouses and relational databases.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for improving user experience through data.
