Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud & Data Engineer to design build and maintain modern cloud data and analytics solutions. This role blends cloud architecture data engineering automation and BI development ensuring scalable secure and high-performance systems across the entire data lifecycle.
Design and manage Azure cloud environments with a focus on networking Entra ID/Active Directory managed identities and secure access.
Build scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms using Databricks Delta Lake and distributed compute frameworks.
Develop and optimise semantic models and reports using Power BI and other BI tooling.
Write robust SQL Python Scala or R code for data transformation automation and analytics workflows.
Implement CI/CD IaC and cloud automation using Terraform and DevOps pipelines.
Produce high-quality architectural documentation technical designs and reusable patterns.
Requirements
Qualifications
Strong experience designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on expertise in data engineering tools (Databricks Delta Lake distributed compute).
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python Scala or R).
Solid understanding of DevOps best practices CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Experience building Power BI models dashboards and optimised data structures.
Excellent technical documentation and solution design skills.
