About the Role

Northwest LLS are looking for a Projects and Programs Officer to support the implementation of the approvedFeral Pig and Pest Sub-Program (FPPSP)business outcomes.

The role will focus on coordinating and delivering targeted pest management activities working closely with landholders stakeholders and partners to reduce the impacts of feral pigs and other pests across the region.

As a Projects and Programs Officer you will:

  • Support the planning coordination and delivery of FPPSP activities and projects.
  • Provide advice reporting and analysis to ensure program objectives and compliance requirements are met.
  • Engage with landholders community groups and partner agencies to deliver on-ground outcomes.
  • Contribute to project management processes including budgets reporting and evaluation.
  • Promote safe work practices and uphold LLS values in all aspects of program delivery.

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and experience in program delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders from landholders to government partners.
  • Commit to achieving results and delivering positive outcomes for communities and landscapes.
  • Apply problem-solving skills and resilience in a dynamic working environment.
  • Show knowledge or experience in pest animal management (desirable not essential).
