Job Description
The physical therapist helps people at the agency by providing physical therapy services.
Their main job is to give direct care to patients. They also work with other team members to create a complete plan to help each patient.
The therapist uses different rehabilitation equipment which includes:
- Splints- Orthoses- Prostheses- Wheelchairs- Equipment for daily activities (ADL equipment)- Modalities (treatment methods)
**Qualifications**
- You need to have at least 2 years of recent experience.
- Experience working in a hospital is necessary.
- A Doctorate degree is required.
- It is strongly preferred to have experience with Meditech Expanse.
- If you are a traveling therapist you must have your own vehicle. This is very important.
- Your permanent address must be included in your profile.
**Certification Requirements**
- You need a BLS (AHA) certification.
- You must have a state license for Massachusetts.
