Job Description
Location- Pittsfield MA
**This Job is for Home Health Care!**
A physical therapist will provide therapy services to patients at home. The main job is to care for patients directly work with other team members and help create a complete care plan for each patient.
The therapist will use equipment like:
- Splints (to support limbs)
- Orthoses (devices to support or correct body parts)
- Prostheses (artificial limbs)
- Wheelchairs
- Equipment for daily living activities
- Other therapy tools
To apply you must have Home Health Certification.
**Requirements to Apply:**
- At least 2 years of experience in nursing care (working in a hospital) and home care
- A valid drivers license is needed
- Must be able to work alone with little help
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred
- Must know how to use OASIS (a system for home health care) this is very important!
**Required Certifications:**
- BLS (Basic Life Support from AHA)
- You must have a valid State License from Massachusetts.
