We are currently seeking a dedicated NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physicians Assistant) specializing in Family this role you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients in need. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of family medicine projects contributing to the well-being of individuals and families in the community. This position is vital to our organization as we strive to deliver exceptional medical care and support to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform physical examinations and interpret medical history.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
- Prescribe medications and provide treatment according to protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice.
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant program.
- Strong knowledge and experience in family medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- About the Position:
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts or 4x 10-hour shifts
Call over the phone 1:9
Daily Volume: 15 patients
Will work independently with some supervision
EMR: AthenaHealth Meditech
Must be board-certified
