This will be a on-site position which will require you to work in the office 5 days a week and must reside in the Portland OR area.

The Logistics Area Analyst reports to the Plant Manager and has the following responsibilities:

  • Set an example as a champion of safety & environmental compliance participate in the office safety team complete inspections and training
  • Schedule shipments for area and manage all paperwork
  • Connect with and schedule third party carriers to ensure on time delivery of product to customers
  • Manage plant cycle counting communicate and ensure compliance with all plant policies and procedures and maintain appropriate records
  • Support plant training systems
  • Monitors local carrier performance and participates in carrier improvement efforts with 3rd Party Logistics provider
  • Manage MRP settings and order raw materials for area
  • Manage relationships with raw materials vendors
  • Communicate any changes to vendors & raw materials to area
  • Manage all office supplies office equipment uniforms and other supplies for the site
  • Manage RedZone and support SMOG reduction efforts for area
  • Support other sites as needed

Required Skills:

  • 3 years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment usage.
  • Must possess good written and oral communication skills and be able to work with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency using with Microsoft Office:Word Outlook and Excel
  • Enterprise software experience.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and environmental regulations.
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with plant personnel third party logistics team and carriers and internal functional groups.
  • Basic skills in English (writing and speaking)

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

  • SAP Experience
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
  • Demonstrated facilitation across stakeholder groups to achieve resolution of issues and consensus

The expected compensation range for this position is between $69000.00 and $115000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills experience and other factors permitted by law.
