This will be a on-site position which will require you to work in the office 5 days a week and must reside in the Portland OR area.
The Logistics Area Analyst reports to the Plant Manager and has the following responsibilities:
- Set an example as a champion of safety & environmental compliance participate in the office safety team complete inspections and training
- Schedule shipments for area and manage all paperwork
- Connect with and schedule third party carriers to ensure on time delivery of product to customers
- Manage plant cycle counting communicate and ensure compliance with all plant policies and procedures and maintain appropriate records
- Support plant training systems
- Monitors local carrier performance and participates in carrier improvement efforts with 3rd Party Logistics provider
- Manage MRP settings and order raw materials for area
- Manage relationships with raw materials vendors
- Communicate any changes to vendors & raw materials to area
- Manage all office supplies office equipment uniforms and other supplies for the site
- Manage RedZone and support SMOG reduction efforts for area
- Support other sites as needed
Required Skills:
- 3 years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and equipment usage.
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills and be able to work with all levels of management.
- Proficiency using with Microsoft Office:Word Outlook and Excel
- Enterprise software experience.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and environmental regulations.
- Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively interact with plant personnel third party logistics team and carriers and internal functional groups.
- Basic skills in English (writing and speaking)
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Requirements:
- SAP Experience
- Demonstrated customer service skills and mindset
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
- Demonstrated facilitation across stakeholder groups to achieve resolution of issues and consensus

The expected compensation range for this position is between $69000.00 and $115000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills experience and other factors permitted by law.Required Experience:
