Position Overview: - The M365 Technical Administrator will serve as a key technical resource responsible for configuration administration and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 (M365) products within the Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment.
- This role requires strong knowledge of M365 services experience with enterprise-level implementations and the ability to evaluate product updates manage configurations and support collaboration tools across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess updates to Microsoft 365 products within the GCC environment.
- Analyze and document the potential impact of new releases and product changes on the SOM M365 tenant.
- Review and recommend M365 configuration settings to align with enterprise standards governance policies and licensing agreements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configuration recommendations and user job aids.
- Collaborate with the SOM M365 Product Team Microsoft technical contacts and internal stakeholders to optimize platform functionality.
- Provide day-to-day technical support and administration of SharePoint Online Teams Power Automate Planner OneDrive and other M365 tools.
- Participate in enterprise working sessions to plan test and deploy new features and updates across the M365 ecosystem.
Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration and configuration at an enterprise level.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft GCC (Government Community Cloud) environments.
- Ability to assess and communicate the business and technical impact of product updates.
- Experience in preparing technical documentation and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience managing content in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
