Job Description
AsSr. SharePoint (.Net) Developer II youll support the design development and maintenance of customized business applications for a federal client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Microsoft development tools front-end frameworks and cloud-based platforms as well as a strong ability to troubleshoot and deliver scalable user-friendly web applications.

What youll do:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team using tools like JIRA Microsoft Teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine technical and product requirements.
- Design develop configure and deploy web solutions.
- Manage priorities across multiple projects and development team members.
- Test debug and maintain software while following SDLC and configuration management standards.
- Create user interface mockups prototypes and demo solutions to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot maintain and enhance existing applications and systems.
- Conduct peer code reviews unit and integration testing and assist with performance tuning of applications.
What youll need to succeed:
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 7 years as a .NET developer and/or SharePoint developer.
- Front-end development experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Proficiency in MVC C# and web application development.
- Strong understanding of Windows SharePoint Services and scalable SharePoint-based solutions.
- Experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer including workflow and content management.
- Experience with Entity Framework and building/maintaining Data Access Layers.
- Proficient with MS SQL Git TFS SharePoint Designer O365 Microsoft suite of applications and SharePoint Online (including lists and libraries).
- Understanding of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security for SharePoint.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to debugging and production support.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and collaborating across design QA DevOps and PM teams.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Git Bamboo Jenkins).
- 5 days/week on site in Washington D.C.
SALARY RANGE: $110000 - $173000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
