Job Description

AsSr. SharePoint (.Net) Developer II youll support the design development and maintenance of customized business applications for a federal client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Microsoft development tools front-end frameworks and cloud-based platforms as well as a strong ability to troubleshoot and deliver scalable user-friendly web applications.

What youll do:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team using tools like JIRA Microsoft Teams.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine technical and product requirements.
  • Design develop configure and deploy web solutions.
  • Manage priorities across multiple projects and development team members.
  • Test debug and maintain software while following SDLC and configuration management standards.
  • Create user interface mockups prototypes and demo solutions to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot maintain and enhance existing applications and systems.
  • Conduct peer code reviews unit and integration testing and assist with performance tuning of applications.

What youll need to succeed:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  • 7 years as a .NET developer and/or SharePoint developer.
  • Front-end development experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
  • Proficiency in MVC C# and web application development.
  • Strong understanding of Windows SharePoint Services and scalable SharePoint-based solutions.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer including workflow and content management.
  • Experience with Entity Framework and building/maintaining Data Access Layers.
  • Proficient with MS SQL Git TFS SharePoint Designer O365 Microsoft suite of applications and SharePoint Online (including lists and libraries).
  • Understanding of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security for SharePoint.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to debugging and production support.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and collaborating across design QA DevOps and PM teams.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Git Bamboo Jenkins).
  • 5 days/week on site in Washington D.C.

SALARY RANGE: $110000 - $173000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

  • The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
