The Boeing CompanyWe are looking for a Mid-Level Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist to join the CTO IP&S team working in Huntington Beach CA; Long Beach CA Plano TX or Seattle WA.
A successful candidate will develop and manage project schedules. Support Project Managers by providing schedule analysis based on project status developing mitigation plans as required. And generate what if scenarios for Project Manager as requested.
Position Responsibilities:
Independently develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
Performs studies analysis (trend variance impact) risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives.
Creates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
Works to improve project management processes business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience working with cross-functional teams across different geographic locations &time-zones
Experience working with program managers to develop & manager project schedulebaselines
Experienced in managing complex integrated schedules earned value management system (EVMS) using scheduling tools (ex. OPP MS Project or Milestone Professional)
Experience with managing and analyzing resource loaded schedules
Experience leading a team of schedulers
Experience integrating complex project schedules
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Agile / JIRA experience
Experience with early development programs
