Location: Remote
Employment Type: Part Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architectto lead the design and development of an enterprise-grade AI-powered chatbot platform. This role will drive technical strategy and execution 9 Microsoft Semantic Kernel Aspire enabling natural language interactions across complex data systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Architect and lead deliveryof a scalable conversational AI platform that streamlines Sales Operations workflows.
  • Lead technical discoverysessions to align on goals systems integration data display and non-functional requirements (e.g. latency accuracy deployment).
  • Design and implementsecure RESTful APIs with real-time streaming (SSE) and integration with RDBMS Flat Files Document Storage and API based systems
  • Develop a dynamic plugin frameworkfor natural language-to-SQL translation and extensibility.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentationincluding architecture diagrams API specs and onboarding guides.
  • Mentor internal developersthrough a co-delivery model to build long-term capability.
  • Create PoCsto validate concepts and gain stakeholder buy-in.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Expertise 9and .NET Aspirefor cloud-native microservices orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Semantic Kernelfor agent-based AI planning and plugin architecture.
  • Experience with Core Web API and Azure OpenAIintegration.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data systems and natural language processing workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong experience to rapidly build prototypes across a variety of User Interface platforms
  • Proven experience in architecting AI-driven platforms and enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong background in API gateway design security and performance optimization.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders across departments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
PROJECT SCOPE & APPROACH:
  • The following items will be addressed in the scope of this project.
  • Discovery
    • Conduct discovery meetings to ensure alignment on:
      • Overall goals of the effort and success definition
      • The systems that will be enabled via the Chatbot
      • Display of the data
      • Non-functional requirement definition including response time accuracy and deployment pattern
  • Technical Leadership
    • Drive the technical solution and leadership of the development of enterprise-grade AI-powered conversational platform that that enables KI to interact with data and knowledge across the following systems:
      • DB2
      • E Spec
      • Data Hub
    • We aim to have a system that is built 9 and Microsoft Semantic Kernel the platform combines sophisticated agent-based AI planning with extensible plugin architectures enabling natural language interactions that can execute complex multi-step data queries perform intelligent analysis and deliver contextual insights across multiple data sources.
    • Deliverables include:
      • AI Chatbot Architecture & Core Platform Design - Designed and delivered a scalable conversational AI platform 9 Microsoft Semantic Kernel Aspire.
      • API Gateway & Service Layer Design - Design of secure RESTful APIs with full support for real-time streaming (SSE) and integration with external systems like E Spec and Data Hub
      • Dynamic Plugin Framework - Design and architecture of a modular plugin system enabling flexible function calling natural language-to-SQL translation and future extensibility.
      • Comprehensive Technical Documentation - Deliver system architecture diagrams API specifications and developer onboarding guides to support maintainability and scale.
      • Internal Developer Upskilling - Partner with internal developers in a part-time co-delivery model to transfer knowledge and build long-term capability.
      • PoCs - Development of PoCs as needed to be able to help convey concepts and get buy-in.
  • Testing & Production Deployment
  • Perform standard unit testing as defined later in the document under Testing Definitions. Unit testing will be limited to 8 hours.
  • Perform deployment activities to ensure that the new dashboards are ready and available to be used in a production environment.
