About the Role

Design develop and maintain scalabel efficient and robust backend systems using AWS services and backend technologies.

What You Will Do

• Design develop and maintain scalable efficient and robust backend systems using AWS services and backend technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features and improvements.
• Ensure code quality by implementing best practices coding standards and performing code reviews.
• Troubleshoot debug and optimize system performance to achieve the highest levels of reliability.
• Assist in integrating data engineering and cybersecurity principles into the development process.
• Continuously research evaluate and adopt new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members provide technical guidance and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of backend development experience including hands-on experience with AWS and backend technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills along with a passion for staying up to date with emerging technologies.
• Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure fundamentals: networking security container technologies etc.
• Production experience with AWS and Linux environments.
• Strong software development skills in at least one of following programming languages: Go Python Java.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Experience in data engineering including ETL processes data warehousing and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles best practices and tools.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

What Makes You Eligible

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and the use of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of embedded system and firmware development.
