Job Summary
Schneps Mediais seeking an experienced salesperson to develop new business across our websites email newsletters and social media channels. The candidate should be an individucal passionate about digital news media and be digitally savvy across the web social media and email marketing. Someone with digital sales experience is a plus. We are looking to hire one person for the Long Island Market and one person for the NYC Market. Two people total.
The pay for this position is a base salary plus commission. The base salary range is $60000-$75000 plus commissions.
Digital Advertising Sales Director Responsibilities:
- Prospecting contacting and closing new advertisers for our digital media
- Working directly with clients to develop and nurture relationships to understand their advertising needs
- Create proposals based on needs of clients to fulfill brand and individual initiative needs
- Upsell existing print customers to higher visibility recurring seasonal and content marketing programs
- Prospect specific opportunities for larger sales team initiatives
- Ensure there is a smooth sales process for clients
- Timely and accurate tracking of all sales activity in CRM
- Manage customer relationships and post-sales advertising content and statistics
- Meet digital team revenue goals
Digital Advertising Sales Director Job Requirements:
- Digitally savvy and sophisticated
- Goal oriented persuasive persistent and hard worker
- Excellent organizational written and verbal communications skills and ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people
- Experience with outbound sales cold calling and digital marketing basics
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficient with technology
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Marketing communications or media degrees preferred
- Use of a car and a valid drivers license preferred
- Must be New York based; hybrid work from home / in office
