The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent Manager to join our BCA Supply Chain Raw Materials team in Everett WA.
The Contracts Manager will lead a team of Contracts Procurement Agent responsible for request for proposals negotiations and managing various contracts within the BCA Materials organization. The manager(s) will integrate with their Operations counterparts and collaborate with cross functions and commodities.
Our team is currently hiring for several Level K Procurement Agent Managers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Manages employees performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations supplier assessment and performance improvement management and improvement of supply chain management and processes.
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers suppliers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
- Manages develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 3 year of experience in contracts/supplier management
- 3 years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers peers other employees and all levels of leadership
- 3 years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- 3 years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal verbal and written communications skills
- Able to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree
- 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- 3 years of experience with Global Field Ops Manufacturing Paint Ops or other related functions
- Proven ability to execute commitments
- Experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results
