Job Description
Catholic Independent Schools
requires a .60 FTE K 7 Fine Arts Teacher at
Sacred Heart School in Prince George BC
This term .60 FTE position beginning immediately ending June 30 2026.
Applicants must hold or be eligible for a British Columbia Teaching Certificate. Previous experience in the arts and with teaching music/band drama and/or visual arts is an asset. Successful candidates must be current and knowledgeable in teaching practices and the BC Curriculum: e.g. Learning Standards Assessment for Learning (AFL) practice reporting and core competencies. They will be expected to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity confidence and collaboration.

The successful candidate will have:
Training and/or experience in one or more Fine Arts disciplines (Music/Band Drama Fine Arts).
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
A commitment to student-centered learning and the development of the whole child.
The ability to inspire students of diverse abilities and backgrounds. Experience integrating cross-curricular learning through the arts.
Annual salary range based on teaching credentials and experience $51330.00 $98682.00
