Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours weekly

Weekly Compensation: $1350 $1500; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a school-based health team in Federal Way WA. This position supports the health and well-being of students through direct care health education and collaboration with school staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students including first aid chronic disease management (e.g. asthma diabetes) and medication administration
Perform health assessments screenings and immunization reviews
Develop and implement individualized health care plans (IHPs) for students with special medical needs
Respond to health emergencies and coordinate appropriate care
Monitor and manage communicable diseases within the school population
Collaborate with parents teachers counselors and healthcare providers
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Educate students and staff on health topics and disease prevention
Ensure compliance with local state and federal health regulations

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Washington State (required).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) (required).
CPR/BLS Certification (required).
Pediatric community health or school nursing experience (required).
Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
