The Hosting Finops and Product Management Lead has ultimate accountability for the strategy management and execution of infrastructure financial health and operations. The role will be accountable for the optimization reporting and governance of over $100m in annual Pfizer infrastructure spend and recovery. The role will lead a team with a mission to ensure Pfizer gets the best outcomes from every dollar spent on cloud and data center technology with full transparency to our global customer base.
The Hosting Finops and Product Management Lead will also drive and be accountable for the Cloud and Data Hosting product and service management strategy. Specifically this role will drive the coordinated release of new product features communications TCO analysis billing performance and overall financial health of all CDH products and services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing teams cultivating leaders and bring a mix of technology finance and people management skills.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Build maintain and communicate global reporting on all hosting services spend at Pfizer across all Digital and business units
Optimize global hosting spend across all providers and ensure Pfizers $100m annual hosting investment is well managed and effectively utilized.
Lead a cross functional global FinOps team while creating enduring internal standards and solutions.
Be accountable for the overall Cloud and Data Hosting product management strategy including service lifecycle planning TCO communications billing performance and overall service adoption.
Set and manage the overall strategy for Pfizers financial operations in cloud and product release and management outcomes with our customers.
Ensure a high quality and transparent billing strategy with a 99% billing recovery target for all applicable cloud and data hosting services.
Set and execute the strategic vision for product and service management based on an understanding of customers goals group priorities the portfolio of products and services offered and their evolving underlying technologies.
Manage external partnerships with key service providers and strategic partners to ensure consistent cost and contract management.
Promote ideas and innovations by taking measured risks and articulating the vision and plan to achieve desired outcomes such as improving performance efficacy cost efficiency and ease-of-use.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Information Technology Business Finance or a similar discipline.
8 years of experience in an enterprise IT setting preferably one in a highly regulated industry such as banking/financial or healthcare/pharmaceutical.
Expert-level knowledge of corporate finance contract management and financial optimization.
Excellent communicator with an ability to influence horizontally and vertically across a large complex and matrixed organization. Adept at managing through often difficult and conflicting priorities to identify those outcomes with the greatest value for Pfizer.
Demonstrated expertise in managing a department-level P&L inclusive of forecasting/budgeting identifying & prosecuting cost efficiency opportunities and managing spending through the fiscal period.
Strong general IT knowledge with a background working directly with customers to drive Digital outcomes at a departmental or division level

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156600.00 to $261000.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
