We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer II Systems Infrastructure to join our team with multifaceted strengths in Tijuana Mexico. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment ensuring the reliability scalability and security of our world-class infrastructure. You will be responsible for attending to support tickets providing excellent customer service handling users and vendors and collaborating with different teams across various areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT technical support resolving issues with Windows operating systems maintaining hardware and software and managing IT ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level priority and nature.
- Configure deploy maintain and support computer workstations laptops printers mobile devices phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
- Install and support PC laptop tablet and mobile hardware and software.
- Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely product delivery and installation.
- Detail procedures standards configurations settings installation sequences and back-out instructions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of using the ServiceNow platform for handling and addressing support tickets including crafting updating and resolving incidents.
- Experience applying PPI (Practical Process Improvement) methodology to improve processes.
- Demonstrable experience supporting printers within the organization.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Environmental Conditions:
Office environment with some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required such as safety glasses gowning gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.
