Job Description
DBI is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Planner to join our client in Seattle or San Francisco. The Lab Planner will work closely with architects engineers and scientists to design and plan laboratories and research facilities that meet the needs of clients and users.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in laboratory planning design or a related field
- Strong knowledge of laboratory planning principles codes and standards
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Bachelors degree in a related field (architecture engineering interior design etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED AP or other sustainability certifications
- Experience with laboratory equipment and furniture selection
- Familiarity with laboratory safety and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of healthcare and life sciences markets
