As an intern youll have the opportunity to work closely with nationally recognized fixed income asset managers. Youll also have a mix of daily responsibilities and project work.
This internship requires working full-time during the summer 37.5-40 hours per week Monday-Friday in our downtown Milwaukee WI office. We are seeking a student who can start in May 2026.
The Impact Youll Make:
Spend time with various portfolio managers on the team to learn about our investment process
Use Bloomberg data and information to research a topic determined by members of our investment team
Present your findings to the investment team and answer questions
Support the teams dynamic reporting needs using various systems including Excel
Monitor and review reports to ensure data quality and accuracy
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements
Perform additional duties and assist with projects as assigned
What Youll Bring to Baird:
Pursuing a bachelors degree in finance accounting or economics preferred
Minimum GPA of 3.3 or higher
Strong interpersonal communication skills both oral and written
A high level of professionalism is mandatory
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision yet a willingness to take direction
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with the Microsoft Office package Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
