Job Summary
Position: Assistant Director of Nursing / Registered Nurse (Full-Time Leadership Role)
Location:Flagstaff Arizona (open to out-of-state candidates willing to relocate at no cost)
Schedule:
Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
40 hours per week
Job Description:
Supervise and manage scheduled staff to ensure proper use of resources and adequate coverage
Evaluate quality and outcomes of nursing functions
Train mentor and supervise staff to ensure care standards are consistently met
Apply regulatory knowledge and implement corrective actions when deficiencies are identified
Participate in and assume leadership roles on committees and task forces
Oversee HR-related activities: interviewing hiring performance evaluations coaching/counseling and disciplinary actions
Respond to emergent issues including allegations of abuse/neglect law enforcement involvement or resident elopements
Communicate effectively with the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Administrator; act on behalf of the DON in their absence
Provide direct support on units as needed
Actively participate in the AMS process
Requirements (all must be current to be submitted for an interview):
Active RN License in the State of Arizona (or ability to obtain)
Resume & Cover Letter
Ability to meet work location requirements
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZDPS)
OIG & APS clearance
CPR/BLS Certification
Current negative TB skin test (within 12 months) or physicians statement of TB clearance
Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
Proof of Vaccine Status (including COVID-19)
