Job Summary and Responsibilities
Food Service Associates are responsible to create a pleasant quality meal experience for patients. Prepare and deliver meal trays to patients according to diet orders.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Handles and prepares food in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Communicate with nursing and the cooks to provide accurate & quality meal service to patients & residents.
- Limited food preparation for café and patients including therapeutic diets.
- Answer department phone calls and respond to requests.
- Operate the cash register and dish machine.
- Assist with putting away freight & stocking of food in kitchenettes.
- Maintains cleanliness & sanitary standards.
- Participates in department communication and teamwork.
Job Requirements
At least 16 years old
High school diploma or GED preferred
