Were looking for a Security Lead to join our Corporate Security team to help protect Collectors personnel property and profits through detection deterrence and denial of unauthorized individuals all while maintaining a secure environment and preserving the integrity of the companys facilities and reputation within a 24/7 security environment. Our Security vigilance protects Collectors from exposure damage to reputation and theft.

Youll report to the Security Manager and work from our Santa Ana CA office. A valid California state BSIS Guard Card and valid Drivers License are required for this role. Must be available to work varied shifts.

What Youll Do:

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings equipment and access points; permitting entry

• Lead and mentor team members fostering professionalism and continuous improvement

• Oversee daily operations including shift coverage incident response coordination and communication with management

• Support training efforts ensuring team members understand and follow SOPs site-specific protocols and compliance standards

• Collaborate with leadership to refine security strategies improve coverage and implement best practices across locations

• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities.

• Complete reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities.

• Maintain organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements

• Contribute to security teams effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned

• Make timely decisions while maintaining composure in emergency response situations

• Provide exceptional customer service

• Sustain effective relationships with customers and the client

• Adhere to all company service and operating standards

• Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers

• Protect the companys assets relative to theft assault fire and other safety issues

• Follow procedures for various initiatives patrolling premises regularly

Who You Are:

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card is required

• Valid Drivers License is required and youre able to drive to events (signings shows etc.) in the Southern California area.

• At least 3 years of security experience required preferably in a corporate environment.

• You have prior experience serving as a Security Lead or Supervisor with a proven ability to guide teams delegate responsibilities and uphold security protocols under pressure.

• You are able to clearly communicate with a variety of individuals both written and verbal.

• You are able to analyze and use logic and reasoning to understand how a problem should be approached.

• You are attentive to the reactions of others reading body language well.

• You have basic knowledge of Microsoft office programs.

• You have great active listening skills foster trusting interpersonal relationships and you work well with others.

• Being bilingual is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist twisting neck/waist and squatting.

• Computer Use: Typing mouse work and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.

• Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise which may include noise from forklifts injection presses or other machinery.

• Hand Use: Power gripping when using low-precision high-impact hand tools that require significant force such as hammer drills and torque wrenches.

• Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms signals and verbal instructions.

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift carry and move materials up to 75 pounds with employee help or with proper equipment.

• Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

• Temperature and Humidity: Occasional exposure to warehouse environments without heating or cooling with fluctuations in temperatures and humidity.

• Walking: Ability to walk for long periods.

Hourly Range:

The hourly range for this position is $25-$30. Entry level operations positions generally start at an hourly rate of $17. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including location job level prior experience and skill set.
