Position: Security Architect Consultant
Location: Columbia SC (29210)
Client: State of South Carolina
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a Security Architect Consultant to support the development and implementation of identity and access management solutions and security automation in a large IT environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing enterprise security solutions and managing security threats while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee identity management single sign-on multi-factor authentication and Active Directory configurations.
Develop and implement automation for security and enterprise IT tools.
Design and deploy countermeasures against security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure consistent application of protective measures across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
Protect state data and technology services through effective security measures.

Required Skills:

5 years of experience in identity and access control logging and reporting systems.
5 years of automation development experience using Python and Bash.
5 years of experience with Linux Windows and network security protocols.
5 years supporting large IT environments and system deployments.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in SIEM analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF CJIS IRS 1075 CMS MARS-E.
Knowledge of application security (AppSec).
