Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join the Information Protection and Risk Management (IPRM) team. This role focuses on designing implementing and maturing cloud security technologies and governance processes across enterprise cloud platforms. The engineer will work closely with the Director of Cloud Security and cross-functional technology teams to enhance overall cloud security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enhance and maintain cloud security policies controls and governance frameworks.
- Implement and operationalize cloud security tools improving visibility and reducing risk.
- Use data analytics to strengthen cloud security posture.
- Partner with technical leaders to improve cloud and application security capabilities.
- Consult with project teams to ensure proper cloud platform security architecture (including SaaS).
- Support broader Cloud Security initiatives including DevSecOps Pipeline Security.
- Draft technical documentation such as processes standards and architectures.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in two or more areas: compute storage networking data etc.
- Hands-on software development experience with automation IaC DevOps and CI/CD.
- Solid knowledge of security controls standards and governance.
- Security certifications preferred: CISSP CCSP CCSK or relevant cloud security certifications.
- 5 years working in a technical role within an IT organization.
- 2 years experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP preferred).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
