PAY RATE: $19.01 - $20.02 PER HOUR

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE

The Partner Relations Specialist works within the community to locate and develop relationships with community organizations that may be resources to assist the Program address the crisis of homelessness in the area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and maintains partnerships with community agencies faith-based groups healthcare providers volunteers etc.
• Identifies new potential partnerships based on results of needs assessment within the program/community
• Develops and maintains social media presence for program in conjunction with VOALA Social Media Specialist
• Conduct regular meetings with volunteers and partners groups
• Develop and maintain inter-agency and community relationships
• Works with Program Manager to implement new projects and produces
• Facilitate and/or attend group collaborative meetings and training as needed or required.
• Ensure all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards
• Maintains required records reports and statistics for administrative purposes
• Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Conduct regular meetings with volunteers and partners
• Develop and maintain existing relationships promote inter-agency action represent Program in the community
• Advise Program Manager on community developments
• Facilitate and/or attend group collaborative meetings and training
• Other duties as required and may be subject to change

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance background check including criminal history personal references employment and education verifications

EDUCATION:

• Associates degree in Social Work Public Relations Communications (or related discipline) or a combination of relevant education and experience (2 years).

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 years of experience in a social services organization serving the homeless veterans or addressing substance abuse
• OR A relevant Bachelors Degree can replace the experience requirement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiar with LAHSA file share HMIS
