Who you are:

Product/Component Inspection to supervise and perform a wide variety of inspection and quality control operations e.g. visual dimensional functional to make necessary critical observations tests or completing appropriate documentation as required in accordance with company instruction product specifications Rules and International Standards.

About the job:

  • Function as the Goods receiving inspection for the component/mills from vendor/sub-contractor material certificates are verified and confirmed to the comply with work instruction/specification.
  • Perform necessary qualification test by use of quality control gauges to verify that the product/components meet specification.
  • Records Inspection Reports and all necessary Reports regarding GRI and delivery stage maintains the files of inspection documents.
  • Register and maintain material information in company system.
  • Collect component information from relevant department and generate final certificate package and submit to customer for review.
  • Prepare and follow up Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts.
  • Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity.
  • Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the supervisor.

What you know:

  • College degree or above
  • Mechanical and electrical background as demonstrated by prior experience.
  • More than 2 years Quality/ Technical experience in heavy industry/shipbuilding/offshore project or excellent fresh graduates
  • Flexible able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly and readily.
  • Motivated towards productivity improvements quality consciousness and safety awareness.
  • Ability to think ahead make decisions and take appropriate action.
  • Good English Skills (Writing Reading and Speaking);
  • Computer Skills - Basic Outlook Microsoft Word and Excel;
