Overview

NC Dynamics currently has an opening for a hands-on proactive problem-solving individual who is ready and willing to serve in a wide range of accounting tasks. Someone who is teachable willing to learn good at collaboration and who has a good work ethic will have the keys to becoming successful in this role. The four broad areas of responsibility include cost accounting general ledger payroll support and AR/AP support.

Job Functions

Cost Accounting:

Provide clear and accurate analysis and reporting of Inventory values Job Costs and Costs of Goods Sold with breakdown between materials subcontract labor and overhead costs.
Drill down on critical cost components such as shop expenses freight timecard data scrap costs and other reports as needed.
Work with other departments on to improve and maintain transactional integrity.
Provide leadership in conducting physical inventory and periodic test counts.
Report values of Fixed Assets including additions and disposals and depreciation.

General Ledger:

Reconciliation of bank account
Month end journal entries and amortization schedules
Balance Sheet account reconciliation and analysis
Preparation of audit schedules

Payroll:

Preparation of payroll journal entries
Alternate bi-weekly payroll function with Human Resources

A/R and A/P:

Prepare and analyze daily Balance Sheet reports
Prepare weekly AP check run worksheet
Prepare CA Sales/Use tax form 1099 forms
