IT Operations Technical Lead Australia

We are currentlyseeking aIT Operations Technical Lead - Australia to bebased in our Brisbane location.

The IT Operations Technical Lead role reports to the IT Regional Operations Manager and supports the team with both advanced technical knowledge as well as a keen understanding of enterprise service standards and policies. This role will require outside of normal business operations attendance to align with various stakeholders including regional Technical Leaders.

The role acts as a point of escalation and coordination for the team and is a 2IC to the Reginal Operations Manager. Working in partnership with the ROM is crucial to ensure the Regions technical environment is available reliable secure and aligning with enterprise standards. The Technical Lead will also act as a technical mentor fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

To be successful you will have strong problem-solving skills coupled with a learning mindset and the ability to multi-task prioritize and manage time effectively. This along with your excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills will make you an ideal candidate.

About the Role:

  • Develops and maintains cross-regional IT technical tools and processes.
  • Develops technical processes and procedures gathers contribution and feedback from regional technicians.
  • Provides guidance to regional Infrastructure Operations Support teams.
  • Flow down new tools and product support processes.
  • Coordination of tools and processes delivery for special projects.
  • Reach back to technical experts in Information Technology & Operations other IT organizations and service providers within the Boeing Enterprise.
  • Provides Incident escalation support to the regional Infrastructure Operations Support team. Participating in Major Incident Management.
  • Ensures consistent support tools and processes within the Boeing Enterprise.
  • Leads Global Technical Forum participation for Infrastructure Operations Support teams.
  • Engages in both global and regional Technical Information exchange meetings
  • Coordinates executive support for the region where necessary.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5 years of technical IT experience.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • Shows initiative yet also controls load with ensuring adequate prioritization.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong analytical problem definition & resolution skills for problem solving
  • Applicants must hold a minimum of an NV1 security clearance
