About the role

Are you a highly organised administrator with strong events and communications experience Are you looking for a role in a small supportive and values driven team

We are looking for an exceptional experienced administrator to work alongside our Wellington Branch Manager in delivering representative services to lawyers across the Wellington Manawatu Whanganui Marlborough and Nelson branches. This is a dynamic role combining event management marketing communications and administration.

This is a permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) role based in Wellington.

Youll be responsible for:

Liaising with branch councils and stakeholders to plan and promote events

Managing communications including newsletters invitations and calendars

Providing secretariat support and assisting with budgeting and reporting

Supporting the smooth running of branch operations and council meetings

Some travel and after-hours event attendance will be required.

Our ideal applicant will have:

Proven experience in event coordination and communications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

A collaborative client-focused approach with great interpersonal skills

Understanding of the legal profession is a plus

Full unrestricted drivers licence
