What youll provide:
Most positions at EMPACT require either a Masters degree in a behavioral health field AND behavioral health licensure OR BHT (Behavioral Health Technician) status.
For EMPACT-Suicide Prevention Center BHT (Behavioral Health Technician) status means:
An individual who:
1.18 credit hours of post-high school education in a field related to behavioral health completed no more than four years before the date the individual begins providing behavioral health services and two years of full-time behavioral health work experience; OR
years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
For EMPACT-SPC Behavioral Health Work Experience generally refers to providing for and working DIRECTLY with clients with mental health and substance use disorders life stressors and crises and stress-related physical symptoms as well as providing prevention and treatment of those conditions.
All EMPACT-SPC employees must have a fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one.
