Were hiring aWorkshop Engineerto maintain and repair our fleet vehicles and specialist equipment includingmunicipal plant industrial & specialist vehicles such as HGVs sweepers Tankers Grabs RCVs Tippers and forklifts.Youll be based at our Brighouse depot playing a key part in keeping our fleet safe compliant and ready to go.. Whether youre already in municipal engineering or have transferable skills from another sector we want to hear from you!

• Diagnose repair and maintain a range of vehicles and equipment
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Work on hydraulic and electrical systems (dont worry well support your learning)
• Prepare and deliver vehicles for MOT testing
• Help with stock checks and general fleet readiness
• Keep accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers

About You

Youre a hands-on problem solver with a background in mechanical maintenance keen to apply your skills in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.

• Level 2 mechanical or engineering qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Full valid UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and solve issues efficiently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
