Location: Dudley (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: 44 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Team Manager to join its client at Dudleys Care Leavers Service.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will
- Manage a team of Personal Advisors.
- Demonstrate experience as a Team Manager within Children in Care (CIC) or Care Leavers services with a preference for long-term assignments over multiple short-term contracts.
- Support children transitioning to independence applying creative approaches to pathway planning and facilitating referrals to Adult Social Services or other relevant services for children with physical or learning difficulties.
- Apply strong best practice knowledge at Team Manager level maintaining a focused and motivated approach to delivering quality care and leadership to young people in Dudley.
- Provide expertise in signposting and supporting young people into employment or education including familiarity with services such as the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Engage with potential employers and organize drop-in sessions for young people.
- Support children transitioning into adulthood under challenging circumstances (e.g. homelessness) and assist older children in achieving independence.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
