Job Description

Tasks

  • Perform triage of returned devices by reproducing and analyzing reported issues executing necessary repairs and ensuring product reliability through final functional tests.
  • Document all repair activities in detailed reports and support Export & Logistics with invoicing related to repairs.
  • Coordinate and oversee outsourced repairs including communication with external suppliers progress tracking and quality control of completed work.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D Production and Support teams to identify root causes of issues propose improvements and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide repair-related insights to colleagues to facilitate effective communication with end-users and distributors ensuring transparency and high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge in electrotechnics and measurement technology combined with strong skills in systematic troubleshooting and documentation.
  • Proven manual skills particularly experience in hand soldering of surface-mounted devices (SMD).
  • Strong communication skills in German and English both written and spoken.
  • Reliable accurate and conscientious way of working.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • High willingness to learn and readiness for continuous professional development.
