Job Summary

The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting precise measurements and mapping of land boundaries and construction sites. The role ensures that all survey data is accurate and compliant with legal engineering and project requirements supporting the successful planning design and execution of infrastructure and construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct field surveys to establish land boundaries topographical features and construction site layouts.
Use surveying instruments (Total Station GPS Theodolites Levels Drones etc.) to capture accurate data.
Prepare and maintain survey reports maps records and legal documentation.
Interpret and analyze survey data for engineering architectural and construction use.
Mark and stake reference points for construction teams to guide project execution.
Verify accuracy of survey data including measurements calculations and boundary descriptions.
Collaborate with engineers architects contractors and government authorities.
Ensure compliance with legal safety and quality standards in surveying operations.
Supervise and train junior survey staff or assistants when required.
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree/Diploma in Land Surveying Geomatics Civil Engineering or related field.
