Job Description
CISCO ACI Admin(LAN/WAN and SD-WAN):
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE Routing and Switching certification is desirable
- In depth knowledge of Cisco LAN WAN SD-WAN (CISCO Viptela highly desirable) and data center infrastructure configuration and operations
- In depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP OSPF) carrier WAN and Internet offerings cloud network services.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN switching technologies including STP RSTP MSTP VLANs EtherChannel and switch stacking; proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches implementing QoS and managing network segmentation and redundancy.
- In depth knowledge of firewalls Zscaler and load balancer(F5) infrastructure configuration and operations.
Wireless
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
- Cisco CCIE Wireless / Aruba Expert Level (ACMX ACDX ACCX) certification is desirable
- Certified Wireless Networking Professional (CWNP) and Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) is desirable
- Has thorough knowledge of WiFi network infrastructure and understanding of software defined networking.
- In depth knowledge of Wireless LAN (Cisco WLAN Cisco ISE Aruba WLAN Aruba Clearpass Aruba Central Aruba Naas) and private 5G (eg Celona) solutions
- In depth knowledge of WiFi network infrastructure WLAN authentication and understanding of software defined networking.
Engineers with a strong mix of the above would be ideal however please prioritise the LAN/WAN and SD-WAN skillsets.
