| Description/Comment: | The main function of a production technician is to support the production functions as well as operating and maintain optics clean line entering programs into computer loading and unloading coating tooling with glass optics. Monitoring and maintaining clean line operation collecting samples and monitoring test parameters daily. Maintaining equipment changing out water filters maintaining clean room protocols. Inspecting optics with the use of a microscope packaging and labeling small optics. Hand cleaning optics operating scanning equipment. Responsibilities:* Record hourly data manually or using computer. * Label items using identification tags stamps electric marking tools or other labeling equipment. * Clean and maintain supplies tools equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. * Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. * Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects reporting any damage to supervisors. * Skills:* Verbal and written communication skills analytical and problem solving ability. * Team player and detail oriented. * Knowledge of relevant equipment policies procedures and strategies to promote effective local state or national security operations for the protection of people data property and institutions. Education/Experience:* High school diploma or GED required.* 2 to 4 years of experience required. |
