Contract Senior Front-End Engineer / UI Developer position in Irvine CA
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Front End Engineer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript proven experience developing and integrating REST APIs and working knowledge of SQL.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently adapt quickly to requirements and deliver high-quality scalable UI solutions that integrate seamlessly with back-end services.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of professional experience building web applications.
- Strong proficiency in React TypeScript JavaScript HTML and CSS.
- Proven experience with REST API development and integration.
- Solid hands-on experience writing and tuning SQL queries.
- Familiarity with front-end build tools testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong focus on unit and integration testing.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal oversight is essential.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React- and TypeScript-based applications.
- Design develop and integrate REST APIs to support front-end functionality.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to connect front-end applications with back-end data sources.
- Partner with designers to deliver accessible responsive and intuitive UI/UX.
- Ensure application performance security and scalability.
- Write clean testable and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with remote teams while taking full ownership of deliverables.
