Job title: Commercial Account Executive

Salary: 50000 - 70000

Location: Durham

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are seeking an Account Executive to join our clients Durham based office. As a key client-facing representative you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and insurers contributing to the growth of the business through networking and securing new sales opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve annual and monthly new business and retention targets through networking and relationship building
Support strategic profitable growth by managing a portfolio of Corporate-level clients
Deliver account management services and present new business presentations to clients
Review client needs and offer solutions utilising the companys in-house claims service
Keep up to date with regulatory changes within the industry
Act as a knowledge base and support for all members of the company
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Cert CII working towards Diploma level

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Strong influencing and communication skills
Effective at managing customer expectations and working to strict deadlines
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Extensive knowledge of company processes and business goals
Target-driven highly motivated and a self-starter
Decisive and a team player
Technical knowledge in Financial Services market and regulatory framework
IT Skills: Microsoft Office Acturis experience desired

DAY-TO-DAY

Networking and building long-term relationships with clients and insurers
Presenting new business presentations and renewal reports to clients
Reviewing client needs and offering solutions
Keeping up to date with regulatory changes within the industry
