In this capacity the Reverse Logistics Global Operations Process Leader will: 1) Drive operational excellence through physical and systemic process optimization focusing on improving capacity cost efficiency AI utilization quality metrics and customer experience 2) Serve as a crucial link between operations technical and business teams by managing escalations conducting deep-dives and implementing solutions to resolve operational barriers 3) Develop and lead the project management function to support the Product Ops organization.

A day in the life
As an Operations Process Leader you will drive operational excellence through a dynamic mix of strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving. Your days will be diverse involving performance analysis cross-functional collaboration and leadership of improvement initiatives. Youll bridge Operations and Support teams conducting deep-dives into metrics developing data-driven solutions and standardizing workflows. The role demands a balance between tactical operations and strategic projects requiring strong relationship-building skills across the organization.

The Amazon Devices Reverse Logistics team spans the globe from China UK EU and the US (Kentucky New Jersey Virginia Sunnyvale and Seattle). The team leadership is composed of long term Amazonians with deep knowledge and experience in the consumer electronics returns space and a passion for Amazons peculiar ways. - Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 10 years of product or program management or technology experience with a proven track record of executing the strategic vision
- Experience in Operations and Business Management
- Experience leading projects/initiatives across a matrix organization and driving toward consensus
- Lean Manufacturing
- Strong communication skills
- Proven analytical / decision making and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Degree (MBA M.A. M.S. or another post-graduate degree)
- Experience converting insights into strategy and communicating complex ideas clearly and logically in written communication
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
