National Sales Manager Grand Rapids MI

DISHER is partnering with a motorcycle manufacturer in Grand Rapids Michigan to fill their National Sales Manager this role you will lead the companys national efforts across sales and marketing department to maximize market penetration and revenue growth. You will manage internal and external sales teams leading premium dealer and distributor relationships and work with the marketing department to develop global marketing campaigns.

What youll get to do:

    • Lead and manage sales teams setting clear KPIs strategies and performance objectives.
    • Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive growth in both B2B (dealer/distributor) and DTC (direct-to-consumer) settings.
    • Build lead and motivate a high-performing sales team with clear KPIs and performance goals.
    • Strengthen the companys U.S. dealer and service center network through targeted recruitment onboarding and relationship management.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (operations customer service marketing) to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
    • Monitor and manage the national sales pipeline from lead generation and pre-approvals to conversion and delivery.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities track performance and report on trends and forecasts.
    • Negotiate and close key dealer and distribution agreements maintaining alignment with company objectives and brand standards.
    • Represent the company at national dealer meetings trade shows and key industry events.
    • Partner with the marketing team (as needed) to align sales promotions campaigns and customer engagement programs.

What will make you successful:

    • 10 years of experience in sales management or sales leadership roles preferably in the powersports motorcycle or OEM industries.
    • Strong experience in B2C and B2B channel development including direct-to-consumer and dealer/distributor networks.
    • Deep understanding of OEM and dealership operations market trends and competitive positioning.
    • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth developing partnerships and managing teams.
    • Excellent leadership communication negotiation analytical strategic planning and decision-making skills.
    • Analytical thinker with strong strategic planning and business development acumen.
    • Proficient with CRM systems sales forecasting tools and data-driven decision-making.
    • Bachelors degree in Business Sales Management or related field.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and inspire high performance.
    • Marketing experience is preferred but not required
