Job Description
Commsignia is a leading software and hardware provider in the emerging Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communication market. Responsibilities:
- Testing of our car-to-car communication software stack as well as safety and efficiency applications for different regions (such as EU US Asia)
- Planning documentation and implementation of automated test cases using a Java-based test framework
- Analyzing and reporting the results of automated regression test sets
- Create and manage bug reports support issue resolution including handling issues reported by customers
- Collaborate closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues
- Communicate with customers when needed to clarify and address reported problems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in test automation or software development using Java (required) and Python for scripting
- Linux or Unix experience
- Solid understanding of network systems and protocols
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Great communication skills in English
Advantages:
- Experience in embedded Linux system testing (e.g. Yocto OpenEmbedded OpenWRT DD-WRT)
- Experience in real-time operating systems
- ISTQB certificate
- Drivers license: we do field tests with cars regularly
- Experience in AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR environments as a test engineer or test automation engineer
