The Boeing CompanyBoeings Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization is currently seeking Facilities Multi-Services Managers to lead our Northwest Factory Services and Custodial teams. This position can be based in Everett Seattle or Renton WA and will also support other facilities within the region.
As a member of the GREF organization you will be involved in a variety of activities related to facility management including planning analysis project administration property administration provisioning engineering construction factory services custodial operations and plant and equipment maintenance.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employee activities within the facilities occupation including custodial cleaning services and facilities maintenance
Manage coach lead develop and motivate employees
Develop and maintain a positive Safety First environment and ensure employee performance complies with all established safety processes and expectations
Develop and execute project and process plans implement policies and procedures set operational goals and drive accountability within the team
Acquire resources for projects and processes provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers business partners and employees
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Participate in equipment make/buy decisions and in source selection while providing technical oversight of suppliers
Learn and lead Boeing problem solving (BPS) and lean efforts
Learn and lead with a Seek Speak & Listen (SS&L) mindset
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Valid Washington State drivers license
3 years of experience in a leadership role leading teams or projects to successful completion
1 years of experience in teaching coaching and developing others
Experience collaborating and working across teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
3 years of experience in facilities operations or facilities management
3 years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
3 years of experience developing & implementing technical operational or quality strategies
1 year experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Software Systems
Experience leading in a union environment
Experience in strategic decision-making and continuous learning with a proven ability to foster accountability within a team.
