Biomedical Equipment Technician III
Location: Dublin GA
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team in Dublin GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of complex biomedical equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of medical equipment technology and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain calibrate and repair a variety of biomedical equipment and systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety testing on equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with regulatory standards
- Train and mentor junior technicians
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment technology and systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Certification from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) preferred
- Must pass federal background and drug screen
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
