Job Description:
Process engineer with 10-15 years of experience in process design including simulation modeling of process plant type facilities (refining petrochemical chemical) preparation of PFDs/Heat and Material Balances Equipment Specifications and P&IDs. Processdesign for new and existing facilities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Simulation modeling for revamping existing facilities
Evaluations of existing equipment and hydraulic modeling
Preparation of PFDs for the revamp conditions
Updating P&IDs
Preparation of Instrumentation Process Data
Relief Systems Evaluation
Participation in Safety Reviews
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
Experience: Min Yr 10
Technical Skills: Experience in process design including simulation modeling of process plant facilities (refining petrochemical chemical) preparation of PFDs/Heat and Material Balances Equipment Specifications and P&IDs.
Other Skills: Strong organizational written and verbal communication skills
Professional Development Opportunities:
Advance technical knowledge of refinery and chemical process unit operations and licensed technologies
Advance knowledge of applicable codes and standards involvement in AIChE or similar local/national chapters and code committees (API ASME etc)

Individual field assignments typically each have their own unique requirements. Prior to deployment on any field assignment you must be able to meet all client-specific site requirements. You must possess physical mobility (on the ground and at heights).
You may be required to pick up lift carry and move up to 50 lbs.
You may be required to work at heights climb ladders and stairways and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding/ladders using the appropriate and required fall protection.
You must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat rain cold and wind) while wearing the appropriate PPE. This may include but not be limited to a hard hat safety glasses/goggles ear plugs masks/respirators hi-vis safety vests leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
You may be required to position yourself to work in confined spaces
You may be required to adhere to a clients random drug testing program prior to entering their site.
You may be required to meet a clients facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site.
